JOHN O. BOYD, CRE
John O. Boyd is a Co-Founder and Principal of VSB Housing Development Resources, LLC and has been involved the analysis and creation of successful high-quality multifamily developments since 1984. Property types include mixed use, office/retail/multifamily, student, family and senior-oriented communities with a focus on affordable developments.
John has been directly involved as developer and/or partner in the creation of over 5,000 multifamily units in 43 developments totaling over $600M in costs. John and VSBHDR currently serve as consultants to public entities and lenders providing monitoring of development and construction phase activities.
Mr. Boyd holds a B.S. from Sam Houston State University; is a former MAI candidate and licensed appraiser in multiple states, a current licensed Real Estate Broker in Texas, holds the designation of Counselor of Real Estate (CRE®) and serves on various committees including the NAR 2019 Federal Financing & Housing Policy Committee.
